| The doctors at Suburban Counseling Services provide a full-range of clinical services to individuals, couples, and families. We offer individual psychotherapy as well as couples or family therapy, and there’s a wide selection of psychological testing and assessment services available. |
Our doctors are well versed in a variety of therapeutic techniques and work hard to continuously add to their knowledge base with regard to the latest mental/behavioral health developments and clinical research. Each of the doctors has particular areas of expertise and these are outlined on their pages. We strive for a balanced combination of “old school, new school” which means we’re trained to focus on patient care and are open to adding new techniques that demonstrate real-world effectiveness. We value our work in terms of the “science” and “art” of providing quality patient care.
If you’re currently prescribed medication, we’re happy to work with your primary care physician or psychiatrist. During treatment, if you decide medication might be beneficial, we’re able to provide you with a referral to a competent healthcare provider who can select the most appropriate medication for you, and then we’ll work with that provider to ensure you receive excellent care. We also offer “Health and Behavior Assessments & Interventions, please see our Health & Wellness page.
Additionally, if you or a family member experience legal problems, we’re able to provide you with psychotherapy services commonly suggested by private attorneys or mandated by the court itself. Our doctors enjoy a positive, well-regarded reputation in the community and routinely work with a number of attorneys, judges, and probation officers in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. |
