Suburban Counseling Services is a privately-owned, state-certified, outpatient mental/behavioral health clinic that initially opened in 1987 and maintains a well-regarded reputation in the community. Our mission statement focuses on "healthy healthcare" — high-quality, results-oriented treatment delivered by doctors who are able to consistently “practice what we preach.” The clinic recently moved to Hartland, and is expanding the range of clinical services.
We're looking to fill one (1) independent contractor position (20 clinical contact hours per week). Must be PhD level Clinical Psychologist. Must be licensed in Wisconsin with a solid education, good work record and a positive, energetic attitude. May consider an exceptional candidate who is currently working toward licensure.
Prefer clinical psychologist with specialization in child psychology. Must possess strong psychological testing and assessment skills. Other desirable areas of expertise include working with gifted students, learning disability issues, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, AODA, and family therapy. Existing patient population at the clinic serves children (age 6 or older), adolescents, adults, and seniors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sharp clinician just beginning a career or for a seasoned clinician looking to make a substantial change. Our doctor’s work as "out-of-network" providers in a supportive, professional environment that strongly encourages creativity, integrity, and socially-conscious healthcare.
Pay is very competitive and is an independent contractor position. Marketing and billing services available.
